Kibbutz Kfar Ruppin is located in the Beit She'an Valley, known today as Emeq Hamaayanot (Valley of Springs), in the northern part of Israel, and was established in 1937.
Population: approx. 450 per.
Kfar Ruppin’s main lines of business are agriculture, tourism, and various entrepreneurs.
The area is known for birdwatching due to its location on one of the most important bird migration flyways between Europe and Africa. Kfar Ruppin is a home to The International Birdwatching Center of the Jordan Valley. Also, near the kibbutz is Tel Tsaf, an archaeological site - a 7,000 year old prehistoric village.
