About the Kibbutz

Kibbutz Baram is located in Etzba HaGalil (lit. "Finger of the Galilee”) in the Upper Galilee area of Northern Israel, near the Lebanese border. It was established in 1949.

Population: approx. 480 per.

Baram’s main lines of business are agriculture, industry (mainly Elcam Medical, plastics for medical purposes), tourism, and various entrepreneurships.

Baram is also a host to the Bar-David Museum of Jewish Art and Judaica, as well as the Baram National Park, which is renown for the remains of one of Israel’s oldest synagogues.
