About the Kibbutz

Kibbutz Mevo Hama is located in the Southern Golan Heights area of Northern Israel, just a few kilometers from the Sea of Galilee. It was established in 1968.

Population: approx. 250 per.

Mevo Hama’s main lines of business are industry (Mapal- plastics, and El Hamma-lab supplies), agriculture, tourism, and various entrepreneurships.

The Kibbutz is mainly known for Hamat Gader, a park that contains restaurants, lawns, ancient Roman Baths,  thermo mineral pool, spa, and hotel of the largest Crocodile farm in the Middle East with approximately 200 crocodiles of various species.
