About the Kibbutz

Kibbutz Ein Gedi is located on the edge of the Judean desert at the site of historic Ein Gedi. It was established in 1956.

Population: approx. 194 members.

Ein Gedi’s main lines of business are agriculture, tourism, industry, and various entrepreneurs.

The kibbutz holds many attractions, among them the spring and nature reserve, proximity to Massada, the Botanical Garden (recognized by the National Geographic Society as "the 11th wonder of the world”), and the Qumran caves.
